Staff Civil Engineer
High Performance Technologies, Inc. (HPTech) is an infrastructure-centered firm focusing on practice, research, policy, and technology transfer. HPTech was established in 2003 with the primary purpose of serving the U.S. federal government at their facilities and project sites. We are seeking a Staff Civil Engineer to support national highway infrastructure research programs, including pavement, bridge, and related performance datasets. The position supports engineering and data-related tasks for FHWA highway infrastructure research programs. This role is ideal for early-career engineers seeking to work with nationally significant pavement and bridge datasets.
Responsibilities

Assist with validation and quality control of infrastructure research data.

Support analysis of pavement, bridge, and materials performance datasets.

Work with engineers and analysts to prepare research-ready data.

Contribute to documentation and technical support activities.

Contribute to reports, TecBrifs, and other technical documents and engineering deliverables.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (master’s preferred).

1+ year of experience with a bachelor’s degree or entry-level with a master’s degree.

Interest in infrastructure research, data analysis, and engineering applications.

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
