HPTech Awarded FHWA Task Order to Support Impact Evaluation of Infrastructure Materials Research

Washington, DC — High Performance Technologies, Inc. (HPTech) today announced the award of a task order from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) to provide technical support for the development and execution of an impact evaluation strategy for FHWA’s Infrastructure Materials Laboratories (IMLs). The task order was awarded on January 27, 2026, under one of FHWA’s ongoing contracts with HPTech.

Under this task order, HPTech will support FHWA’s Office of Infrastructure Research and Development (HRDI) in advancing a structured, evidence-based approach to assessing and communicating the short-, intermediate-, and long-term impacts of infrastructure materials research. The effort will focus on strengthening how research outcomes are evaluated, tracked, and conveyed to highway stakeholders across the Nation.

The Infrastructure Materials Laboratories conduct applied and fundamental research critical to the performance, durability, safety and longevity of highway infrastructure. Through this task order, HPTech will assist FHWA in developing evaluation frameworks and tools that support informed decision-making, continuous program improvement, and alignment with Federal research and evidence-based policy objectives.

“We are pleased to support FHWA’s efforts to further strengthen the evaluation and communication of infrastructure materials research outcomes to its stakeholders,” said Dr. M.S. Khan, Executive Vice President of High Performance Technologies, Inc.
