Media Specialist/Editor

High Performance Technologies, Inc. (HPTech) is an infrastructure-centered firm focusing on practice, research, policy, and technology transfer. We are seeking a Media Specialist/Editor to support communications, outreach, and knowledge dissemination for FHWA infrastructure research programs. This role ensures technical content is visually engaging, accessible, and compliant with federal standards.

Responsibilities

Develop graphics, layouts, and visual materials for brochures, reports, and websites.
Create presentations using charts, images, and design elements.
Support video, poster, and digital content production.
Apply writing and editing skills to technical and training documents.
Ensure Section 508 compliance for all deliverables.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in English, Media, Communications, or related field.
2+ years of relevant experience.
Experience with graphic design and presentation software.
Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility standards.
